The integration of Google Cloud Private Service Connect with Elastic Cloud is now generally available, offering secure, private connections from clients in Google Cloud environments to Elastic Cloud deployment endpoints. This enhancement is accessible to customers across all subscription tiers and cloud providers, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud. Private Service Connect facilitates private connectivity and policy enforcement within virtual private clouds, ensuring that all traffic remains within the Google network while being easy to set up and scale. Users must first obtain a static IP on Google Cloud to create a Private Service Connect endpoint, followed by creating a DNS record to access the endpoint with a friendly domain name. Traffic filters can be configured to allow traffic only from specific endpoints, enhancing security for Elastic Cloud deployments. Customers interested in using this feature can start through the Google Cloud Marketplace and benefit from a promotional coupon applicable to their Google Cloud billing account.
