KubeCon Europe 2023: Kubernetes, OpenTelemetry, Istio, and more with Elastic Observability

KubeCon Europe 2023 in Amsterdam will feature Elastic Observability as a key participant, offering insights and solutions for observability and security in Kubernetes environments. Elastic invites attendees to visit their booth for demonstrations and to engage with their team of engineers and experts. A significant announcement at the event was the acceptance of Elastic's proposal to merge the Elastic Common Schema (ECS) with OpenTelemetry Semantic Conventions, aiming to create a unified open schema under OpenTelemetry, which is expected to influence the future of observability and security deployments. Elastic will also host a User Group meetup on April 18th to foster community engagement and provide further learning opportunities.
