Built on Elastic’s extensive operational expertise, ECK promises seamless orchestration and operational efficiency for Elasticsearch on Kubernetes, with an open and transparent forever-free tier, alongside an Enterprise subscription offering enhanced capabilities. Initially supporting Google Kubernetes Engine and vanilla Kubernetes, Elastic aims to broaden its compatibility with other Kubernetes flavors in future releases, ensuring a consistent and robust experience for users across cloud and on-premises environments.
