Summary

Elastic Security and Google Cloud have integrated Elastic’s next-generation SIEMv2 and EDRv2 capabilities into Google Distributed Cloud air-gapped infrastructure, aiming to help sovereign governments, defense agencies, and highly regulated organizations defend disconnected environments against increasingly rapid and automated cyberattacks. The collaboration provides locally operated security analytics, telemetry correlation, endpoint protection, threat intelligence, and incident-response workflows without external network exposure, supporting data residency and compliance requirements. It consolidates functions previously managed through separate log management, endpoint, forensic, and incident-tracking tools into a unified architecture designed to reduce operational complexity and host resource use while supporting Zero Trust principles. Key capabilities include normalized and correlated telemetry, MITRE ATT&CK-aligned detection rules, kernel-level endpoint visibility, behavioral malware and lateral-movement protection, Mandiant-curated threat intelligence, and built-in case management and runbooks. Google and Elastic plan to demonstrate the integration at the Google Public Sector Summit in Washington, D.C., on October 20, 2026.
