Elastic Observability 8.11: ES|QL, Universal profiling in APM, and enhanced SLOs

Elastic Observability 8.11 introduces several new features, including ES|QL for Observability, Universal Profiling integration with Elastic APM, and enhanced Service Level Objectives (SLOs). ES|QL, now in technical preview, simplifies data investigations and integrates with the Elastic AI Assistant to create alerts and insights using natural language queries. The integration of Universal Profiling with Elastic APM allows users to correlate application performance issues with underlying system functions without switching contexts, improving visibility and reducing resolution time. Enhanced SLOs feature faster summary calculations, new error rate charts, and the ability to add SLO overviews to dashboards, enabling users to better monitor and manage operational performance. These advancements are available on Elastic Cloud, providing users with a comprehensive suite of tools for improved observability and performance management.
