Elastic is a Strong Performer in The Forrester Wave™ for AIOps Platforms, Q4 2026
Blog post from Elastic
Elastic was named a Strong Performer in Forrester’s Q4 2026 evaluation of AIOps platforms, which assessed 10 providers across 24 criteria, and received the highest possible scores for algorithmic trust and explainability, observability-as-code and GitOps alignment, AI and semantic observability, sovereign deployment and data isolation, and pricing transparency. Elastic attributes the recognition to its nightshift AI SRE, an AI assistant designed to investigate incidents using visible reasoning and supporting evidence that engineers can review before approving actions. The company emphasizes retaining complete logs, metrics, and traces through cost-efficient storage, converting relevant environmental information into compact agent context, and using lessons from previous incidents to improve future investigations and identify unexpected issues beyond predefined alert rules. Elastic also highlights its OpenTelemetry-based architecture, native data formats, and support for open standards as ways to preserve portability and avoid vendor lock-in, while noting that Forrester’s research does not constitute an endorsement and that future product features remain subject to Elastic’s discretion.
