Elastic and Google Cloud have announced an expanded partnership aimed at enhancing data search, observation, and security capabilities for organizations using Google Cloud services. The collaboration will introduce three main integrations: a search experience combining Elasticsearch with BigQuery and BigLake, broader native integrations for Elastic Observability and Security across Google Cloud services, and enhanced visualization through Looker for Elastic insights. These integrations aim to facilitate efficient data management by allowing users to analyze data in place without requiring redundant copies, thereby providing near real-time insights. This partnership also extends support for Google Cloud services, such as Google Compute Engine and Google Kubernetes Engine, to improve cloud security and observability. Additionally, Elastic and Google Cloud are focusing on embedding search capabilities into the Data Cloud Ecosystem to allow seamless data indexing and analysis within existing data lakes, thereby reducing data movement and accelerating time to value.
