Elastic and AWS collaborate to bring GenAI to DevOps, security, and search

Elastic and AWS have announced a five-year strategic collaboration agreement aimed at advancing AI innovation, particularly in generative AI applications, by enhancing existing technical integrations. This partnership focuses on simplifying AI application development, utilizing Elasticsearch as a vector database, and integrating with Amazon Bedrock for model management, while also offering cost-effective, serverless solutions through Elastic Cloud Serverless. The collaboration emphasizes industry-specific solutions, especially for the public sector, providing advanced security features such as AWS PrivateLink integration and FedRAMP authorization for regulated industries. Elastic and AWS are also committed to supporting customers' adoption of Elastic on AWS through funding, incentives, and educational initiatives, while ensuring robust security and cost-efficiency.
