Elastic has announced the technical preview of Elastic Cloud Serverless on Microsoft Azure, available in the EastUS region, offering a fast and scalable solution for security, observability, and search without the need to manage infrastructure. Leveraging the Search AI Lake architecture, which utilizes Azure Blob Storage, it provides vast storage, separate storage and compute, low-latency querying, and advanced AI capabilities. Users can easily start by logging into the Elastic Cloud console, selecting Azure as the cloud provider, and choosing EastUS to create serverless projects tailored to their needs in Elasticsearch, Elastic Observability, or Elastic Security. The offering features a flexible, usage-based pricing model that aligns costs with actual consumption, and Elastic plans to expand its availability across more Azure regions and introduce new features to enhance performance and usability.
