We Raised $21M to Give Fortune 100 Cloud for AI Agents

E2B has secured a $21 million Series A funding round led by Insight Partners, with participation from other investors, to enhance its AI infrastructure platform, which is already used by 88% of Fortune 100 companies. The company aims to address the current limitations in agent productivity caused by inadequate infrastructure by providing instant-on, secure cloud machines designed for complex tasks. As an open-source standard for agentic workflows, E2B supports diverse environments and aims to establish a universal standard similar to web protocols, with pluggable modules for secure credential management and real-time monitoring. This investment will allow E2B to expand its engineering and product teams and accelerate the development of its sandbox platform, facilitating the broader adoption of AI agents in enterprise settings.
