Dynatrace has expanded its audit logs feature to Dynatrace SaaS customers with the release of version 1.183, allowing both SaaS and Managed customers to track configuration changes and security-relevant events via a new REST API. This enhancement supports transparency and traceability, enabling users to access, download, and filter logs of login, logout, configuration changes, and API token updates in JSON format. Each audit event contains detailed properties such as event type, user information, and timestamps. While audit logs are retained for 30 days, users can set up automated processes to store logs for longer durations to meet compliance standards.
