Dynatrace's latest update enhances its anomaly detection capabilities by allowing users to set performance-anomaly thresholds for infrastructure components monitored via third-party technology plugins. While Dynatrace already automatically learns and monitors baseline performance, alerting users to response-time degradations and increased error rates, the new feature enables more granular control over infrastructure performance issues that do not directly impact key business workflows or customer experience. Users can adjust threshold settings for custom plugin events through the Anomaly Detection settings and can choose to display infrastructure-only issues in their Problems feed by modifying their watch settings to include all infrastructure-related problems, regardless of their impact on applications or customers.
