Dynatrace has introduced case sharing in the Security Investigator app, revolutionizing collaborative security investigations by enabling professionals to share their investigations with teammates immediately. This feature offers various sharing modes, allowing for personal, group, or link sharing with options for read-only or edit privileges. The system identifies shared cases with icons, and users can view details by hovering over these icons. While multiple users can have edit privileges, only one can edit at a time to maintain case integrity, with others being notified when the case is locked. The case owner retains control over sharing permissions and can revoke or recreate shared links if necessary. This enhancement aims to streamline threat-hunting activities and improve team collaboration in security investigations.
