PALISADE is an open-source lattice-encryption library developed with contributions from Duality Technologies team members, aimed at supporting flexible and secure encrypted computing technology. Originating from U.S. Department of Defense-funded R&D projects, PALISADE has been employed in various encrypted computing applications and prototyping activities, with sponsorship from organizations such as DARPA, IARPA, and ARL, as well as grants from the Sloan and Simons Foundations. It offers implementations for unit testing and benchmarking to ensure software quality, while its core library supports post-quantum encryption protocols, making it resistant to future quantum computing attacks. PALISADE is designed for compatibility with various operating systems, including Windows, Linux, MacOS, and Android, without relying on major external software library dependencies. The library's contributors actively participate in HomomorphicEncryption.org's industry consortium to advance standards for secure homomorphic encryption technologies, with Duality Technologies continuing to support these standardization efforts and ensuring the conformance of its PALISADE-derived products.
