Live Migration from AWS ElastiCache to Dragonfly Cloud: A Hands-on Demo

In this hands-on demo, a zero-downtime migration strategy is demonstrated from an AWS ElastiCache cluster to Dragonfly Cloud while maintaining data consistency. This approach focuses on three key principles: zero downtime, data consistency, and verification through real-time visualization and metrics. The RedisShake migration tool is used, which provides a powerful and configurable way to facilitate the migration of Redis data across different environments with ease. A sample application, running on an EC2 instance, is used to visualize the migration process and provide real-time feedback. After completing the migration, data consistency can be verified by checking key counts between ElastiCache and Dragonfly Cloud. The demo showcases a successful zero-downtime migration from AWS ElastiCache to Dragonfly Cloud without data loss or downtime, ensuring business continuity for production workloads.
