This comes after a year and a half since the release of Dragonfly on GitHub as a modern alternative to Redis. The adoption of Dragonfly by Aiven was due to its multi-threaded, shared-nothing architecture, which allows for more efficient use of hardware and better handling of heavy workloads compared to Redis. Aiven for Dragonfly is a managed service that can be deployed in any preferred cloud environment, offering lightning-fast data storage and retrieval capabilities, with the ability to handle workloads exceeding 1TB and over 10 times the throughput performance of Redis OSS.
