Highlights from the first DigitalOcean Functions Challenge

The DigitalOcean Functions Challenge invited developers to create a DigitalOcean Function using their choice of runtime (NodeJS, Python, Go, or PHP) and make a POST request to an API endpoint that created a Sammy sticker in a Virtual Aquarium. Participants received T-shirts for successfully completing the challenge. The event saw over 230 Sammys filling up the virtual aquarium. Developers were encouraged to join a Discord channel for help and share their tutorials and guides on how to complete the challenge. DigitalOcean plans to host more challenges as new features are released.
