Block Storage Comes to NYC3 and LON1; One More Datacenter on the Way!

Block Storage is now available in two new datacenters, NYC3 and LON1, allowing customers to scale their storage independently of compute resources. This feature has seen significant engagement since its launch last July, with users creating volumes in multiple regions to scale databases, store media, and more. The rollout plan includes the addition of Block Storage to AMS3, while Kubernetes now supports DigitalOcean Block Storage thanks to StackPointCloud. Customers are encouraged to provide feedback and use Block Storage, which can be created in NYC3 or LON1 today, with a recommended approach for the NYC3 region.
