Announcing new Basic Premium Droplet plans

DigitalOcean has expanded its Basic Premium Droplet plans with new options for enhanced memory and storage, offering improved performance at an affordable price. The new plans are now available in multiple datacenters across the globe, including AMS3, BLR1, FRA1, NYC3, SFO3, SYD1, and TOR1. Existing users can continue to access their existing Droplets through the cloud console, while new Droplet creation from these plans will no longer be available via the cloud console. The new plans offer improved performance with AMD EPYC processors, including 8 GiB, 16 GiB, and 32 GiB of memory options, as well as Intel Xeon processors with 1 GiB, 2 GiB, 4 GiB, and 8 GiB of memory options. The prices for the new plans range from $42 to $192 per month, depending on the processor type, memory, vCPUs, transfer, NVMe SSD, and datacenter location.
