Didit’s Norway Residential Verification service checks applicants’ names, dates of birth, and addresses against Norwegian Register and other authoritative residential and consumer data sources to support identity confirmation, fraud prevention, and compliance. Available through a single POST request to the database-validation endpoint or a no-code Workflow Builder module, the service returns a normalized match type along with field-level results that organizations can use for automated approval, review, or rejection decisions. It is intended for regulated and risk-sensitive sectors including fintech, crypto, lending, marketplaces, gig platforms, and iGaming, where confirming an applicant’s claimed residence can create an auditable verification record. Results typically arrive within seconds, conclusive queries cost $2.42, unavailable sources and incomplete or rejected requests are not billed, and Didit states a 99.9% quarterly uptime target; accounts also include 500 free monthly verifications for testing.
