Didit’s India EPIC Verification service checks submitted voter-registration details against the Election Commission of India’s electoral roll to help organizations confirm whether a person’s name, date of birth, and EPIC card information match an authoritative source. Designed for onboarding in sectors such as fintech, lending, crypto, marketplaces, gaming, and neobanking, the service returns a normalized match type along with field-level validation results that can support automated approval, review, or rejection decisions. It can be integrated through a single POST request to Didit’s database-validation API or configured through a no-code workflow in the Didit Business Console, with typical responses delivered within seconds. Conclusive queries cost $0.84, while unavailable sources, incomplete data, and pre-source rejections are not billed; users must obtain and retain documented end-user consent before verification. Didit also offers 500 free verifications per month for testing and states a 99.9% quarterly uptime target.
