Federated identity systems, typically built on OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect, can combine with Multi-Party Computation (MPC) to support privacy-preserving services such as identity verification, fraud detection, analytics, and credit scoring without exposing participants’ raw data. The approach also calls for immutable logging, SIEM-based monitoring, regular audits and penetration testing focused on MPC-specific threats, and incident-response plans for compromised shares or distributed-computation failures. Didit presents its identity platform as aligned with these principles through reusable KYC, biometric re-authentication, zero-trust controls, secure enclaves, and privacy-focused processing, although it states that MPC APIs are not directly exposed to customers.
