Detectify Responsible Disclosure Program
Blog post from Detectify
Detectify has launched its own Responsible Disclosure program, inviting researchers to report security vulnerabilities in its services in exchange for recognition on its Hall of Fame and various prizes. Despite specializing in identifying web vulnerabilities, Detectify acknowledges that its own applications may not be entirely free of security flaws. Researchers are encouraged to report verifiable security issues through a five-step process, which includes sending a detailed email to a designated address and receiving confirmation and follow-up from a support team member. Eligible bugs for reporting include typical web security issues such as cross-site scripting and server-side code execution, while low-impact or overly complex issues like social engineering and denial of service are excluded from eligibility.
