Descope has introduced Ghos-TP, a novel passwordless and spirit-driven user authentication system designed to enhance security while offering a unique user experience. Developed in collaboration with SoulMates Inc., Ghos-TP uses a ghost-based authentication process where users are matched with spirits to guess a 6-digit code for access, effectively preventing bot attacks and credential-based threats. This innovative Spirit-as-a-Service platform is free, as it leverages the non-material desires of ghosts, and has received positive feedback for its decentralized and secure architecture. Ghos-TP joins Descope's suite of authentication factors, marking another step in the company's ongoing efforts to innovate in user authentication technologies.
