DeepL's Roots and Routes employee resource group (ERG) is hosting Mosaic Fest, an event that celebrates cultural diversity through activities like cultural showcases, storytelling, food, music, and panel discussions, fostering a deeper understanding and connection among employees. Co-leads Emilia Gomis and Carolina Alarcón, who bring diverse backgrounds from France, Senegal, Bissau-Guinea, and Colombia, emphasize the importance of ethnic representation and cultural inclusion in the workplace. They highlight how the ERG, part of DeepL's BEDI (Belonging, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion) program, provides a safe space for employees to share experiences and engage in dialogue to promote inclusivity.
