Enhance Your Voice AI Windows Applications with the Deepgram .NET 4.0 SDK
Blog post from Deepgram
Deepgram’s .NET SDK v4.0 substantially redesigns the library to align its structure and client patterns with the company’s JavaScript, Python, and Go SDKs, with a focus on improving Voice AI development for Windows applications. The release enhances live streaming, prerecorded transcription, and management clients while adding text-to-speech, intelligence features for summaries, intents, topics, and sentiment analysis, first-time on-premises support, configurable per-call timeouts, logging controls, and custom request headers and query parameters. A new NuGet Microphone package simplifies sending local microphone audio for real-time transcription, while updated repository examples demonstrate workflows ranging from URL and local-file transcription to webcast streaming and MP3 speech generation using human-like voices. Deepgram also plans further SDK maintenance improvements through automation, linting, and static checks, and invites developers to test the SDK, report issues, and share feedback through its community channels.
