Summary

DBOS has expanded its Transact libraries and Conductor platform with features focused on cross-language interoperability, PostgreSQL integration, durable scheduling, operational controls, and privacy. Workflows can now be managed across TypeScript, Python, Java, Go, and PL/pgSQL environments, while persisted application versions support runtime routing, blue-green deployments, and rollbacks. PostgreSQL functions and triggers can enqueue workflows transactionally, and new durable concurrency primitives, delay scheduling, timezone-aware cron backfilling, and enhanced workflow forking improve reliability and recovery. Conductor adds bulk workflow actions, executor metadata, workflow event and stream inspection, and a metadata-only mode that keeps workflow inputs and outputs within customer environments. DBOS also introduced a LlamaIndex integration for crash-resilient AI agent workflows and a Databricks Lakebase partnership intended to provide fault tolerance and observability for agents running on Databricks infrastructure.
