What's New at Daytona: January 2026

Daytona's January 2026 update introduces significant enhancements, including official SDKs for Ruby and Go, which facilitate robust interactions with the Daytona platform for automation and tooling. The API documentation has been revamped for greater transparency and ease of use, offering full visibility into request schemas and enabling direct REST integration. A new suite of AI guides and integrations, such as Google's ADK and Recursive Language Models, positions Daytona as a secure runtime for AI operations. The platform now supports Customer Managed Compute, allowing users to run sandboxes on their own hardware or selected cloud regions, with a focus on reducing latency and adhering to data residency laws. Additionally, a global Command Palette has been added to the dashboard for improved navigation efficiency, and advanced CLI controls enable seamless interaction with sandboxes. Daytona is also hosting its flagship conference, Daytona Compute, in San Francisco in March 2026, aimed at bringing together industry leaders in AI infrastructure.
