The article compares four open-source analytics tools - Common Room, Crowd.dev, Orbit Love, and Bitergia Analytics - to find the best options for monitoring and analyzing GitHub issues. The comparison focuses on key requirements such as integration with GitHub, cost, ease of use, and support. After a comprehensive evaluation, the author concludes that Common Room stands out due to its seamless customization capabilities, comprehensive information, and ease of use. While other tools have some advantages, they lack the depth and efficiency offered by Common Room. The article aims to provide a balanced view of each tool's overall usefulness and value to help guide informed decision-making for community managers and project teams.
