Dataiku Headless: build in your favorite coding agent, review and ship in Dataiku
Blog post from Dataiku
Dataiku Headless connects coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and other compatible assistants to Dataiku, allowing users to create, modify, investigate, and migrate governed data and AI projects while remaining in their usual coding environments. It uses Headless as an interface for inspecting and operating Dataiku and invokes Cobuild to build visual Dataiku assets, including pipelines, models, dashboards, and agents, which can then be reviewed, maintained, and deployed by broader technical and business teams. Intended to complement rather than replace Cobuild’s in-platform workflow, Headless supports building projects from existing Dataiku data, modernizing legacy SAS, Alteryx, or Excel workflows, and assisting administrators with diagnosing project or job issues. Its capabilities depend on enabled Cobuild access, appropriate user profiles and API-key permissions, and it can be installed through plugin marketplaces, a GitHub repository, or an MCP server connection.
