At GopherCon India, Jason Moiron, Software Engineer and Gopher at Datadog, presented "Go Faster: Optimizing Go Programs." The talk covered various optimization techniques explored by Datadog in the past year of using Go in production. Topics included the use of the Go profiler, test benchmarks, runtime behavior, cgo, compiler optimization/inlining, ASM support, and implementation details for maps, channels, the runtime, and select statement.
