Hubble is a platform that enables monitoring of network traffic in Cilium-managed Kubernetes clusters. It collects and aggregates network data from every pod to provide insights into request throughput, status, errors, and more. Hubble integrates with OpenTelemetry, allowing for the export of log and trace data to a third-party monitoring platform. The platform leverages servers and the Hubble Relay to collect and make available network flow data via APIs. Hubble's CLI provides detailed information about individual pods' traffic, including status and security identities, while the UI offers a high-level service map for monitoring network activity and policy behavior.
