Developers can customize colors of video-call UI elements in the updated Daily Prebuilt embeddable call interface, allowing for greater brand consistency and expressiveness. This update enables developers to assign up to 10 different colors, apply multiple color themes, and add subtle accent colors without overhauling existing themes. Color theming is currently available to all users and will be part of the branding bundle on the Scale plan in the future. The company has released color theming templates in Figma, a free design tool, to help teams visualize how their chosen color theme maps to individual UI elements before making changes to code. This update aims to give developers more tools to build with video at every step of integration, including design and prototyping.
