Since joining Cube in October 2020, the community has experienced significant growth, with Slack membership increasing from 2,000 to over 7,000 members, fostering more interactions and support among users. To further enhance community engagement, Cube plans to make several changes, including discontinuing their low-usage Discourse forum and integrating valuable discussions into their documentation. They have also restructured their Slack channels, improving topic focus by renaming channels and adding new ones. The introduction of the Reacji Channeler app will help direct conversations to appropriate channels, reducing clutter in the #general channel, which will be renamed to #announcements-and-news with restricted posting. A new #advice-and-questions channel will be created for miscellaneous inquiries, and the community will continue to recognize active members, with Ryan Woodring recently being named a Cube Hero for his contributions.
