In 2026, Cube has introduced significant enhancements to its analytics platform, including improved dashboard filters, a new exploration mode, and AI-assisted data modeling that optimizes the initial setup of semantic models. The AI-assisted onboarding allows users to quickly connect their data warehouse, with the Cube Agent automatically generating a starter semantic model by analyzing the schema and defining dimensions, measures, and relationships. Users can interact with the Cube Semantic Model Agent conversationally to refine models, which are verified before finalization. The new exploration mode offers a stateless environment for data analysis, enabling users to modify visualizations and ask questions in natural language without disrupting dashboards. Additional updates include prompt suggestions for admins to facilitate onboarding, undo and redo functions in workbooks, enhanced filter control, and new pivot table features. These improvements aim to streamline data analysis and are now available on Cube's platform.
