Introducing Cube's Claude Connector and Skills

Cube has launched an official Claude Connector in Claude’s Connectors Directory, allowing users to connect their Cube accounts and let Claude analyze governed data, create dashboards, and make approved semantic-model changes using the user’s existing permissions. The connector is intended to support agent-driven work across tools, with Cube’s semantic layer supplying standardized business definitions, joins, access policies, provenance, and auditability rather than relying solely on warehouse schemas or raw SQL. Claude can also use Semantic SQL for ad hoc calculations while remaining within Cube’s governed model, and users can install the connector through Claude, authorize their account, and choose a deployment where applicable. Cube also released an Apache 2.0-licensed open-source repository of nine agent skills for Claude Code, built around the Cube CLI, covering data exploration, governed queries, model and content creation, agent configuration, access administration, embedded analytics, and deployment management.
