AWS Snowball provides a portable, secure infrastructure for edge data centers, while SpaceX Starlink offers fast and reliable satellite internet connectivity. Couchbase Capella serves as the hosted backend DBaaS in the cloud, synchronizing data between the edge database and the cloud database as connectivity allows. The ASC stack combines these three technologies to create an edge architecture that can operate at high speed, all the time, anywhere on the planet, reducing latency and bandwidth usage for applications operating in remote locations or internet dead zones.
