Initially planning a meetup, they opted for the event to reach a broader audience, creating a keynote presentation on the topic of edge computing involving AWS Snowball, SpaceX Starlink, and Couchbase Capella. The presentation, enhanced by QR codes for easy engagement, attracted over 200 attendees and was well-received, with audience members expressing interest in Couchbase's technology and capabilities. The event featured a Capella demo and a raffle for Beats Pro headphones, engaging further with attendees and underscoring Couchbase's appeal to IT professionals. The team deemed the event a success and expressed hopes for future collaborations with Software Guru.
