Announcing Couchbase Server 4.0 – Develop With Agility and Operate at Any Scale

Couchbase Server 4.0, a significant release for the company, is now available for download following multiple previews, thanks to the contributions from the developer community and beta customers. This release introduces several innovations, including the new N1QL query language which combines SQL simplicity with JSON flexibility, enhanced BI integration via ODBC/JDBC drivers, and spatial queries for location-aware applications. Performance improvements include new indexing for responsive queries, multi-dimensional scaling, and the advanced ForestDB storage engine.
