Coralogix has launched the SLO Center, a service management product designed to help teams define and manage service level objectives (SLOs) across multiple services or metric streams, utilizing the Coralogix Streama© engine for high cardinality limits. SLOs, originating from Google's site reliability engineering practices, help teams balance service availability with innovation by defining performance goals, such as ensuring a percentage of requests are fulfilled within a specific timeframe. The SLO Center provides a dashboard under the APM tab for tracking SLO trends, breaches, and alarms, and allows users to define SLOs using PromQL queries. The platform offers detailed breakdowns of SLO health, error budgets, and introduces new alarm types, such as error budget and burn rate alarms, to proactively manage potential breaches. When an alarm is triggered, the system provides insights and links to explore the root causes, enabling teams to address issues efficiently. To get started, users with existing Coralogix metrics can configure SLOs, with further support available through the documentation or sales team for demonstrations.
