Summary

Coralogix reported that the compromise of private keys for eight eMudhra (emSign) intermediate certificate authorities, disclosed on October 17, 2026, is an industry-wide trust issue that has led major browsers, operating systems, and language runtimes to block certificates issued by those authorities. The company stated that its own endpoints, managed services, and internal systems do not use eMudhra or emSign certificates, with no identified effect on customer data or normal data flow. As a precaution, Coralogix recommends customers review and upgrade deployed components, including Kubernetes and OpenTelemetry integrations, the Coralogix Operator, Terraform provider, CLI, Lambda layers, collectors, profilers, and shippers, to specified current versions that remove compromised certificates from trusted CA stores. Potential risk is limited to situations in which an attacker is already able to intercept traffic between a customer environment and Coralogix, such as through DNS hijacking, a compromised proxy, or an untrusted network.
