Introducing news search
Blog post from Context.dev
Context has introduced a news search feature covering more than 200 million articles to help AI agents access current information and reduce reliance on potentially outdated model knowledge. Users can search in natural language for topics or look up companies through names, domains, tickers, or ISINs to find reporting, announcements, and press releases. Results can be refined by publisher, language, publisher country, article type, and publication date, with company searches sortable by newest or relevance and topic searches ranked by relevance. The feature is available through Context’s API, dashboard, API reference, and MCP server, and can be combined with the Highlights API to provide agents with targeted research context.
Use this post, company, and trend context to find content marketing opportunities, perform competitive analysis, or address product feature gaps via the Plushcap MCP server or the Plushcap API.
