Announcing strategic MOUs with Indra Group and Multiverse Computing
Blog post from Cohere
A recent Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Canada and Spain aims to foster bilateral agreements in technology and sovereign AI, enhancing economic activity between the two nations. Signed during an official visit by King Felipe VI and other dignitaries, the agreement involves Cohere collaborating with IndraMind and other local companies to create an innovative ecosystem. This partnership will see IndraMind focusing on sovereign computing and data management, while Cohere will provide large language models, with adaptations for Spain's official languages. Additionally, an enterprise-focused AI platform is planned to open commercial opportunities between the regions, and a defense cooperation line is included for enhancing mission-planning and interoperability. Cohere also formed an MOU with Multiverse Computing, a leader in quantum-inspired AI, to explore commercial opportunities in Europe and Canada, demonstrating how Canadian and European AI firms can deliver sovereign, enterprise-grade solutions. These initiatives aim to empower governments and companies with digital sovereignty, enabling them to control performance, data access, and deployment across various environments, thus supporting strategic priorities and economic growth in both regions.
