Introducing the World’s First Dashboard for GitOps Environments

Codefresh has introduced a new GitOps Environment Dashboard designed to enhance the visualization and management of application lifecycles in organizations using GitOps practices. This dashboard aggregates data from various sources, including CI systems, Argo CD installations, ticketing systems, and git providers, to provide a comprehensive view of applications' progression through different stages. It allows users to track promotion history, correlate code commits with environment changes, and connect with ticketing systems to focus on features rather than just Git hashes. The tool addresses limitations in Argo CD by introducing constructs that account for environment types, dependencies, and promotion processes, offering a flexible approach to managing application promotions across environments. The dashboard aims to improve efficiency by reducing the manual correlation of information from multiple systems and providing features like diffing environments, setting gates, and testing suites.
