Codefresh has introduced a new certification program designed to fast-track learning and application of GitOps principles for organizations and the open-source community. The program consists of three courses culminating in a final exam, which upon completion, awards a GitOps Mastery certificate. The initiative aims to educate participants on GitOps standards and processes, enabling them to deploy more frequently, automate rollbacks, and quickly remediate outages. The first course, GitOps Fundamentals, covers the theory of GitOps and its application using ArgoCD, with and without Helm and Kustomize, as well as topics like application health, synchronization methods, and progressive delivery strategies. The course offers a hands-on experience with a live Kubernetes cluster, requiring no setup, and can be accessed via mobile devices. Successful completion of the course results in a PDF certificate that can be shared on LinkedIn and other platforms.
