CockroachDB 24.3: Enhanced resilience and a simplified self-service trial

Cockroach Labs has released CockroachDB 24.3, which enhances resilience and performance while adding new enterprise capabilities such as support for Microsoft's Active Directory and database triggers. The update also makes it easier to start with free trial options for cloud or self-hosted deployments. Key features include improved physical cluster replication, WAL failover, logical data replication (LDR), active directory support, introduction of triggers, and improvements in the CockroachDB console.
