Cloudsmith has released Phase II of its API+CLI, providing users with greater control over package handling through features such as entitlements management and package search functionality. The updates include the ability to list, create, update, delete, refresh, and sync entitlements via the API and CLI, as well as copy, move, and resync packages between repositories. Additionally, the CLI now supports JSON output for critical commands, enabling more powerful integrations with automation tools. Users can also search and filter packages in the UI using the same syntax as the CLI, and package groups are automatically grouped by name. The release also introduces granular repository permissions, allowing users to control who can execute certain actions on a repository level.
