Caching and Upstream Proxying for RedHat Packages
Blog post from Cloudsmith
We are pleased to announce that configurable upstream proxying and caching support is now available for RedHat packages in our Cloudsmith repository. To set this up, simply click on the "Upstream Proxying" menu item, select "RedHat", and create a new upstream with a name, URL, and priority weighting. You can then choose to fetch and cache packages from the upstream, verify SSL certificates, select individual distributions, and add GPG keys or custom headers as needed. With this feature, we are moving towards our goal of providing a universal package management solution for development, deployment, and distribution workflows.
