Open source Managed Components for Cloudflare Zaraz

Yo'av Moshe and his team at Cloudflare developed a solution called Managed Components to improve the loading of third-party tools on websites without compromising security, performance, or privacy. The new format allows vendors to write their own performant, safe server-side integrations while providing users with transparency and control over what is happening on their website. Managed Components use a permission-based system for various actions such as setting cookies, changing the DOM, or collecting IP addresses. An example analytics Managed Component demonstrates how it can be used to send payloads without running any code in the browser. The benefits of Managed Components include same domain execution, website-wide events system, server logic capabilities, server-side rendered widgets and embeds, reliable cross-platform events, pre-response actions, integrated Consent Manager support, and open source availability. Cloudflare is working on expanding Managed Components to mobile applications and allowing unofficial installations on Cloudflare Zaraz.
