Summary

Cloudflare has expanded its closed beta of HTTP Applications to all enterprise customers. This product allows users to better manage their L7 Cloudflare configuration with versioning and staging capabilities. HTTP Applications enable the management of configurations by use case rather than hostname, with each application consisting of a set of versions representing different settings for managing traffic. Routing Rules are used to decide which version of an HTTP Application will affect a specific set of traffic. This combination allows users to stage changes without requiring separate staging zones and provides IPs for testing before rolling out configurations to production.
